Rare Canadian garage rock from the 60s. 'Prairie Punk' is the subtitle of this collection. Gaiety Records was based in Thunder Bay, Ontario and attracted a large number of acts from western Canada. Included are tracks by Checkerlads, 49th Parallel, White Knights, Tomorrow's Keepsake, NRG and Solid Reputation, but best of all it includes 10 tracks by 2 bands The Plague and Lexington Avenue which spawned the legendary Jarvis St. Revue. All recordings have never been released on CD before.
