Probably the finest blues guitarist to have emerged since Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan remains, despite his premature and tragic death in 1990, the blueprint player for the current generation. In late 1986 Stevie Ray began the Live Alive Tour, backed by his regular group Double Trouble. The show included on this double LP set is from the earliest part of the tour, when Stevie and the band played the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas, on 1st February 1987.
