Woods Of Desolation is one of the most well-known black metal bands from Australia. Especially with their second and third album they gained a lot of fans worldwide and became one of the top-selling acts of Northern Silence. As the name implies, 'Unreleased Demo 2007' is exactly that - a previously unreleased piece of music, improvised and recorded by D. in 2007. It was made available to fans as download through Woods Of Desolation's Bandcamp page, and due to many requests is now also being released on CD in a limited edition. The material on this EP is instrumental and less refined than the later productions of the band, more like their unpolished, intense and deeply melancholic depressive black metal of old. The CD is released as part of the Northern Silence Underground Series and comes as collector's edition in digipack, limited to 500 copies
