Well, pleasure to those who enjoy the dingy creaky rock movements that resemble that of a horror soundtrack. 'Silk' has some early Sonic Youth or Swans elements to it, which is fitting since this seems to thrive on the idea of taking that particular time and place of NYC to the absolute extremes of depravity. This is some pretty cool mood music that features a lot of loose clashing of sounds between drums, malleable bass, and the weird hum/clanks of guitars that create the type of ambiance that would only befit to a serial killer... ~Built On A Weak Spot.
