Ancient Days have with this album reinvented themselves, the trudging stoner doomic groove of their previous output has been replaced by a more "classic rock" dynamic, still doomic but enhanced by swathes of swirling keyboard textures and bluesy psychedelic guitar colouring. ~Frazer Jones/Desert Psychlist
