'Some Divine Gift' comprises nine spoken word tracks with various guest narrators/vocalists, including Henry Rollins, David Boulter (Tindersticks), Barry Hay (Golden Earring), Spinvis, Alex Roeka, Daisy Cools and Mark Ritsema. All of these tracks radiate an enigmatic darkness. Found sounds, samples, violin, strange organs, dark saxophone and sometimes subtle piano, Fender Rhodes and Mellotron provide a sonic bath for the beautiful short stories and poems presented by these different soulful voices. Each song comes with an original piece of art (featured in the artwork) from different artists, including Henk Schiffmacher and James Johnston.
