A CD of improvisations from Hoca Nasreddin. Hoca Nasreddin consists of Kevin Davis (cello), Destroyevski (electric guitar), Nikolai Galen (voice) and Robert Reigle (tenor saxophone). The material was recorded in Istanbul, 2009. Nikolai Galen says: "For 'A Headful Of Birds' I wanted to let the montaging be more like cinematic jump cuts so that each audio scene cuts sharply into the next audio scene. I regard the montaging as a process of meta-composition where improvised sections are edited and juxtaposed to form an album."
