The Hope Singers is a collective Swedish gang of brilliant, leftfield, alternative musicians from Stockholm. Together they have recorded this unique and heartfelt album (their follow up to the debut album 'It's Time For...') during the hot summer of 2018. Arranged and produced by Karl Jonas Winqvist (Sing A Song Fighter). Among Karl Jonas' own compositions are also wonderful covers of songs by Mary Ocher ('Arms'), Suicide ('Dream Baby Dream'), Low ('The Death Of A Salesman'), Alice Gerrard ('Strange Land'), John Lennon ('Love'), World Party ('Put The Message In The Box') and Violent Femmes ('I Hear The Rain'). Plus the opening track which is a poem from 1845 written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow with music by The Hope Singers. In front of the microphones are many of Karl Jonas' favorite vocalists like Annie Angel, Iiris Viljanen, Erik Jeor, Anja Bigrell etc. And some top guest musicians are featured like Lamine Cissokho (kora), Lisa Långbacka (accordion) and Theo Stocks (pedal steel). And together, not solo, they deliver the goods.
