Music critics have tried to compare Karl-Jonas Winqvist to artists like Dean Wareham (Galaxie 500, Luna), Bill Callahan, Daniel Johnston and even Neutral Milk Hotel. Guests on the album include the sisters from First Aid Kit, Mariam Wallentin from Wildbirds and Peacedrums and Fredrik Björling (ex-Dungen drummer who is bringing some magic drumming to the closing track).
