The music presented here is based on compositions by pianist Mulelid, who's inspired by everything from psalms to free jazz. However, there is also room for collective improvisation. The sound can be energetic, rhythmically complex and harmonically rich, but also intimate and with beautiful melodies. These musicians work entirely with acoustic sounds and timbres, and constantly reach for new ways to express themselves within these frames.
