Ebo Taylor is one of Ghana's finest musicians and also highly regarded as a producer and arranger. Taylor was heavily influential in the unique sound that emerged from the country in the '70s, which combined traditional Ghanaian music, Afro-beat, jazz and funk rhythms. 'My Love And Music' was originally released in Ghana (in 1975) on George Prah's label Gapophone. At the time the record was issued in a limited run of 500 LP's, due to the musical vacuum imposed by the military dictatorship in the country at the time. Expect laid back, lush, highlife vibrations, with notable reggae influences throughout.
